2009 PRE-SEASON MEETING SUMMARY

The 2009 pre-season meeting was held on September 16, 2009 at Turner Hall.  The meeting began with a rememberance of our past league secretary Ed Fortmann, whose untimely death was honored with a moment of silence.  Get the rest of the full story of what happened at the meeting.

  • League will start October 28, 2009
  • Team rosters can consist of up to 8 players
  • Secretary's fee will be $300
  • Sponsor's Fee will be $55
  • Team Fee will be $8 per night
  • Teams will be paid approximately $5.00 for each win at the end of the season
  • League will pay top 6 players for high average
  • Players must play 75% of games to be eligible for League high average payout
  • Both teams are responsible for putting away the board/stand, and clean the table
  • Each team will take a turn running the 50/50 raffle
  • There will be NO SMOKING in the playing area -- smoking IS allowed in the bar room

CHANGES THIS YEAR:

  • Last year's average runs per game will determine handicap the first night only
  • Teams missing night, have 3 weeks, or until next position round, to makeup games
  • Makeup games played before a regular league night, MUST be done by 7:30PM SHARP!
  • Makeup games can be played after a regular league night
